An Introduction to Rigid Heddle Weaving

Curious about weaving and want to try it for yourself? This hands-on beginner workshop introduces the basics of rigid heddle weaving, guiding students through the process from yarn to woven cloth.

Students will learn how a loom works, how woven fabric is created, and how to set up and weave a small sample of their own. We’ll move through each step together at an approachable pace, making this class an inviting entry point for anyone new to weaving. By the end of the workshop, students will leave with hands-on experience and the confidence to continue exploring weaving beyond the class.
