Refraction is a collection of hand-dyed patterns created using shibori-inspired tie-dye and snow dyeing. As the snow melts, pigment moves gradually through folded fabric, forming soft grids, broken lines, and subtle shifts in color. These original cloth patterns were later digitized into repeating designs, carrying the evidence of the process into their final form. See the process here.
