The Beach Jacket (2021)

Handwoven from cotton and angora yarns on a 2-harness floor loom and sewn into a jacket using a self-drafted pattern. Created during the pandemic in response to the prompt "bold, wild, quiet, and subtle," this piece became the first prototype in an ongoing exploration of handwoven garment design.
