Spotted Lanternfly Costume (2025)

Inspired by the spotted lanternfly, this costume was created through a series of ice dyeing experiments designed to test the limits of control within an inherently unpredictable process. The final ensemble includes a quilted cape, corset, skirt, chemise, and a coordinating cloak, all developed to explore how intentional imagery could emerge from ice-dyed fabric.
